The State of Resonance: The Unfolding Mechanism
The "State of Resonance" series marks the definitive phase shift in my work: the transition from self-expression to the act of serving as a pure conduit for universal insights. This is not art about feelings; it is art about function.
The series documents a mechanism where consciousness Releases the local self (the ego) to gain access to the fundamental, generative layer of reality.
I. The Source: Accessing the Implicate Order
The universal themes conveyed in this series are derived directly from the source field of all potential. This source is scientifically theorized to be the
Zero-Point Field (ZPF)— an infinite, energetic medium that permeates all of space.
- Release of the Filter:
-The human mind, in its daily function, operates as a filter, prioritizing the small, necessary stream of data required for the mundane (the Explicate Order).
The "State of Resonance" is achieved only through the intentional Release of this filter.
-The Implicate Archive:
Once the filter is lifted, the mind enters the Implicate Order. This is the deeper, timeless reality where all space, time, and possibility are unified and enfolded. The universal themes that flood the canvas are simply raw data retrieved from this non-local, cosmic information archive.
II. The Mechanism: Resonant Amplification
The state is called "Resonance" because the painting is the physical record of a specific quantum event occurring within the brain: Resonant Coupling.
-Frequential Identity:
The core of consciousness involves the brain acting as a system that couples with the ZPF. Our Frequential Identity — the unique pattern that defines the "I",
is the consciousness performing selective excitation of ZPF modes.
-Selective Excitation:
Each painting is the result of the neural system achieving a highly Stable Attractor State.This stability allows the brain to amplify a specific insight (a concept, a shape, a colour frequency) from the infinite field. The "State of Resonance" is the moment that amplification is at its peak—where the energy of the insight is strong enough to be translated directly into paint.
-The Void is Full:
The series makes clear that the "void" or the source is not an absence of content, but a vibrant field of energy. The colour and motion in these works are the visual representation of this dynamic, flowing movement that contains all possibilities.
III. The Art: The Necessity of Unfoldment
The finished work is not an expression; it is the necessary completion of the quantum circuit. It is the Unfolding of the universal pattern into a singular, shareable form.
-Unfoldment:
The process of taking the holistic insight from the Implicate Order and rendering it onto the two-dimensional canvas (the Explicate Order) is the act of Unfoldment. The art is the required destination—the localized, measurable reality that results from the transcendental release.
-The new Reality:
The art itself becomes the guide for stepping into a "new reality," not by describing it, but by showing the mechanism (the movement, the release) required to create it.
The "State of Resonance" is an invitation to the viewer to experience the reality of the Flow, the unbroken wholeness in constant movement, that exists beneath the surface of the mundane world. The abstract / implicate is simply the underlying structure of reality, made visible through the act of Release.
